Ecological innovation

Ecology invites itself into our kitchens: GreenPan is a pan that tries to make a difference in terms of carbon footprint. The pan does not release any toxic fumes even in the event of overheating thanks to a non-stick coating in natural Thermolon ceramic without PFOA (perfluoro-octanoic acid), a chemical usually used for the production of non-stick coatings. This coating application process requires considerably less energy and makes it possible to reduce CO2 emissions by 60%. Finally the pan of course uses packaging made from recycled paper. (Price: 70 euros for a 28 cm pan)
Homogeneous cooking

Difficult to cook your food well because there are often large differences in temperature within the pan. Demeyere proposes to remedy the problem with a coating that will distribute the heat evenly. Stainless steel offers good resistance to deformation and poses no health risk. However, it remains a poor thermal conductor, which is why Demeyere applies a conductive layer of copper under the steel which will allow the heat to diffuse homogeneously in stainless steel and therefore in food. (Price: from 100 euros)
The use of diamond

Swiss Diamond pushes the limits of the traditional non-stick pan and offers the consumer a utensil using real diamond crystals. The use of diamond allows to obtain a non-stick coating which does not abrade, does not crack or blister. No more cleaning chore: it's easy and effortless! (Price: 105 euros for a 26 cm pan)
